My "go-to" hair style these days

The past few months I've been turning to the top knot for a simple, quick & easy but stunning style. It's been easy to throw my hair into a quick messy bun for years now, but it's never looked as chic as this. It literally takes only 3 seconds...promise! I'll be posting hair tutorials soon!

I'm so blessed...I get to take pictures of my beautiful husband

Ah! So sorry I have been slacking. It has been super busy around here and I've had no time to post! Actually scratch that, I've had no internet. We've been having to go down to the local coffee shops to get free Wifi until next week. Bummer. Although we did manage to get a few photoshoots in last week! Some of you may know that Ryan and I have a business called RynoPhoto Photography. He is the main big deal ;) I'm his manager (book the shoots) and his assistant photographer. We have so much fun! Since we are new to the area we have spent some time trying to find a few awesome places to shoot. Here is a photoshoot I did of Ryan last week...isn't he gorgeous?

Time to let you guys in on my jewelry stash ;) Ryan and I just recently moved into our lovely apartment and I HAD to find a place to set aside all my jewels! I didn't want them "in the way" where he would have to deal with them on a regular basis, or have them cluttered on a dresser...SO we decided to hang them in the bathroom-where they are completely out of the way and it's clutter free! Plus it's a super cute way & place to hang all your candy!

My fabulous birthday

Ahh needless to say I had the best birthday EVER! My birthday was this past Friday, September 7th! I woke up to the smell of cinnamon rolls, a sweet kiss from Ryan and the three most beautiful words that can come out of his mouth, "I love you" to start the day off. I had breakfast in bed, fell asleep again..(whoops!) and then it was time to be our beach bum selves. We went for our routine walk around Wrightsville, ate lunch at Tower 7 and headed for the water. My parents drove 2 1/2 hours just to spend the evening with us & have dinner and drove back that same night (seriously the sweetest people ever) we went to Longhorn Steakhouse-SO GOOD-, had my cheesecake for dessert...came home and walked into a house full of candles, roses, wine, chocolate covered strawberries, and a BOX...check out what was inside... :)
