SURPRISE! We're having a baby!
There are no words to describe our happiness and excitement about our little one on the way. I can't imagine a better Father, a better man and a better Husband. Sharing this with him is incredible and he has been beyond helpful. Words can't explain my love for that man.
On one Sunday afternoon I began having hot flashes. I'm talking intense hot flashes that made me break a pretty good sweat. I went home that afternoon and took the longest nap of my life. That Monday I felt extremely tired, beyond tired...continuing onto Tuesday and I ended up sleeping ALL day Tuesday and again, all day Wednesday. This was not like me. I don't know how to nap! I take that back, I didn't know how to nap till now... I've become a master. That Wednesday night I couldn't sleep, I kept tossing and turning...I felt-strange? Like something was different, something was off. Ryan got up at 6:30 that morning to go surfing. The sound of him closing the door behind him as he left startled me and I woke up suddenly. The minute I woke up I just knew. I said under my breath..."I'm pregnant...I'm so pregnant!" I ran to the bathroom and took a test. Not even 5 seconds later it was positive! I ran out the door to see if he had left yet, he hadn't :) I looked over the balcony with my hands over my face smiling/crying..anything you can think of. He ran up the stairs, I showed him the "stick" and we hugged and laughed. It was beautiful.
I love being pregnant!

Our Wedding Cake.
I was amazed by how beautiful our Wedding Cake was. I had an idea of how it would look, but she went beyond what I could have imagined! The lady who did my cake is a local lady in Pinehurst NC. If you would like her information feel free to email me! She does an incredible job!
Make-up.
Tomorrow I'm doing hair & make-up for a very beautiful brides wedding! I'm super excited to see how it's going to turn out considering she's already so flawless! Here are a few examples of how I would do eye-makeup for a wedding. I would tend to stay towards the more neutral look, you want the Bride to look natural but very elegant/clean/fresh.

In the decorating mood.
I love decorating, so much that I change the way our house looks probably three times a week. This is no joke. I can't help it! I love seeing new interior designs and practicing my DIY skills to match up with them...but in a more less expensive way of course. Here are some recent ideas that i've stumbled across that I'm thinking about trying for our lovely home.
(except those crazy fluffy chairs-not a fan!)
Father-Daughter Dance.
This was probably one of the sweetest moments in my life. I cried my eyes out the entire time...it was definitely the moment where we both realized he was letting me go. I told him I was still his baby girl and that I loved him so much-he told me in return how much he loved me and how happy I was going to be with Ryan-he said you will be more than fine. I love my daddy so much!
Our "Footloose" Entrance. AH-MAZING.
So I know I'm over-loading you guys with pictures- but I just can't seem to get enough! I love our wedding photos! I love how fun our wedding party was! The entry into the reception we all did a cute/fun dance to "Footloose"...SO MUCH FUN! So many great memories.
